Take a Break Guidelines/Rules
- Weekly prizes will be randomly awarded. Each person who scored points
that week will be entered into the drawing.
- Monthly prizes will be randomly awarded to each person who has scored a minimum of 40 points in a single month AND scored at least one point each week during that month. A few easy ways to score 40 points in one month include:
- Using a flexible schedule to avoid traffic congestion every day and bringing your lunch to work for half the month
- Walking to lunch every day
- Carpooling twice a week
- For the purposes of the Take a Break drawings:
- A week starts on Sunday and ends on Saturday
- "Month" refers to either July 1 - July 31 OR August 1 - August 31.
- Prizes are awarded only for activity completed from July 1 - Aug. 31, 2007. Logging activities outside of that time period will let you see the miles you’ve saved and pollution you’ve prevented, but will not increase your eligibility for a prize.
