Take a Break from the Exhaust Program
Take a Break from the Exhaust is a Web tool that allows you to log your work-related alternative transportation activities, get points for them, and calculate how many miles of driving and harmful pollutants you’ve saved. You can score points for:
- Carpooling, biking, walking or taking transit to work
- Telecommuting
- Driving during off-peak hours to avoid congestion
- Walking, biking, using public transit, or staying in for lunch
- Using an alternative work schedule, such as four 10-hour days per week
