GREEN COMMUTE CHALLENGE
July 1–Aug. 29, 2008
Save Money
Driving less equals saving money — and the Green Commute Challenge for Kansas City area companies will help you do both. The average 20-mile, round-trip commute costs about $75 each month. How much can you save?
The Challenge
During July and August, take the bus or carpool, vanpool, telecommute, bike or walk to work — anything except drive alone. Track your miles-reducing activities over a two-month period using our easy online tool, earn points, and see how much air pollution you prevent — both individually and as an organization.
