CMAQ 2008 Call for Projects

Mid-America Regional Council is currently reviewing proposals from local, regional and state governments seeking federal fiscal year (FFY) 2009 CMAQ funding. Approximately $3.5 million is available in Kansas and $2.7 million in Missouri. CMAQ funding is designated for projects that improve air quality by reducing emissions from cars and trucks.

Applications for FFY 2010 CMAQ funding were also accepted, but because Congress has not yet authorized a new transportation spending bill, applicants should be advised that the availability of FFY 2010 funding is very uncertain at this time.
