Transportation Committees

Many of our transportation-planning activities take place within committees. They provide an opportunity for local governments, professionals and citizens to discuss issues and coordinate planning activities for transportation and air quality. Organization chart (pdf)

Planning committees establish strategies for managing the region’s transportation system. Programming committees establish funding priorities, and review and score transportation project applications. Both make recommendations to the policy-making committees, which report to our Board of Directors for approval.
