Scope of Work

This purpose of the Transportation Legislative Advisory Committee (TLAC), which reports to TTPC, is to advance local government and regional interests in state and federal legislative and budget decisions affecting transportation systems in the Kansas City region. TLAC also acts as a source for information and discussion on key transportation issues and legislation as well as to maintain a liaison between local and state and national/federal agencies and delegates.

Meetings and Activities

The Transportation Legislative Advisory Committee meets periodically to develop the Kansas City region’s position on legislation and funding that affects our transportation system. Meetings are held in the MARC offices, 600 Broadway, Suite 200, Kansas City, Mo. All meetings are listed on the MARC calendar and are open to the public.
