Scope of Work

The Transit Committee addresses regional transit and paratransit issues. It is made up of local government and transit agency officials and others interested in transit issues. The committee refines and advises the regional strategy for transit, develops strategies for expanding transit services, and improves coordination of transit studies.

Meetings and Activities

The Transit Committee holds an open meeting on the first Wednesday of each month at 10:00 a.m. Meetings can be shifted based on action needed or when projects have been programmed. Meetings are generally held in the MARC offices, 600 Broadway, Suite 200, Kansas City, Mo. All meetings are listed on the MARC calendar and are open to the public.
