External Station Survey 2007-2008

Vehicle Occupancy Study 2002 (986KB, pdf)
Recent update of MARC's ongoing effort to monitor the region's vehicle occupancy rate.

Regional Household Travel Survey Results (3MB, pdf)
The data collected during MARC's most comprehensive regional household travel survey to date will be used to support transportation planning projects, including travel forecasts, highway and transit feasibility studies, land-use planning, parking studies, and planning for bicycle and pedestrian facilities.

Regional Household Travel Survey Final Report 2004 (3.1MB, pdf)

On-board Transit Survey 2005 (3MB, pdf)
In 2005, MARC directed an on-board passenger survey to track travel patterns as a follow-up to the regional household travel survey completed in 2004. Survey results offer insights about how and where to expand transit availability into other markets and increase service for existing routes. The data will be used to update the regional travel demand model, which helps forecast future travel characteristics within the Kansas City metropolitan area.
