Signal timing optimization along regional corridors is a major element of the Operation Green Light (OGL) project. Through deployment of effective signal coordination timing plans, OGL is able to decrease the number of stops, decrease vehicle emissions, decrease travel time, and improve driver satisfaction.

By teaming with member agencies, OGL has been able to make improvements in the travel experience of motorists in the metro area.
