UPDATE ON CALL FOR TRANSPORTATION ENHANCEMENTS PROJECT FUNDING
The Missouri Transportation Enhancements Committee met on March 5 and made adjustments to the current call for Transportation Enhancements (TE) projects under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. MARC extended the original application deadline and accepted Transportation Enhancements-eligible projects — including new projects — from communities within MARC's Missouri MPO boundary through noon on Friday, March 20. MoDOT will make an estimated $1.96 million available for this programming round. The Missouri TE Committee will meet on April 3 at 8 a.m. to review and recommend projects for ARRA funding. Enter potential economic stimulus projects in the database. This online form asks for basic information such as a project description, type, barriers to implementation, cost, and how quickly it could be under contract. The project list can be viewed online, and the public may submit comments. Contact information for project sponsors will not be visible.

The projects will be shared with the Kansas City region’s congressional delegation, state delegations and appropriate federal and state agencies.
