I-470 Purpose and Need –Intended to develop the purpose and determine the root causes of the need to improve I-470 from 39th Street to Blue Ridge Boulevard. MARC contact: Marc Hansen

K-68 Corridor Study – This study will examine residential and commercial development, growth of traffic, environmental and other factors for the next 15 to 20 years along K-68. MARC contact: Don Schoenborn

kcICON –The kcICON project area covers approximately four miles of combined I-29 and I-35 in Clay and Jackson Counties in western Missouri. This project will construct a landmark Missouri River bridge and maximize safety, mobility, aesthetic and capacity improvements in the corridor. The project is expected to be complete by July 31, 2011. MARC contact: Mell Henderson

Metcalf Corridor Study –This study will look at the revitalization and redevelopment of the Metcalf Avenue corridor. It will create a new vision for Metcalf Avenue that allows Overland Park, KS to better define and reinforce a coherent image for the corridor and reinforce its identity as the primary north/south artery through the community. South Metro Connection – This study will examine opportunities for an improved east-west connection between southern Johnson County and northern Cass County. MARC contact: Don Schoenborn

State Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Study – This Unified Government Transit study will evaluate Bus Rapid Transit options along the State Avenue corridor in Wyandotte County. MARC contact: Gerri Doyle

Troost Avenue Bus Rapid Transit Study – This KCATA study will evaluate Bus Rapid Transit options along the Troost Avenue corridor in Jackson County. MARC contact: Gerri Doyle

U.S. 24-40 – The corridor extends from K-7 west to the intersection of County Road 1 and U.S. 24-40, south of Tonganoxie. This area is beginning to urbanize, leading to an increase in highway traffic. KDOT, MARC, Leavenworth County, Basehor, and Tonganoxie want to work together in planning for the future of the corridor through preserving mobility, promoting safety, and providing reasonable access to support future development. The study will focus on integrating current and future land use and transportation demands. MARC contact: Darryl Fields
