After decades at 600 Broadway, the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) is preparing to move to a new location, marking an important milestone in our organization’s continued evolution and service to the Kansas City region.

June 30 marked the last day of meetings at the old location. From July 1 through mid-August, all meetings will be virtual or at off-site locations.

MARC staff will work remotely from July 13–31 while the new space is finalized and we relocate. During this transition, MARC staff will continue with business as usual and will be available for meetings, calls and any service needs.

Beginning in mid-August, MARC meetings will take place at 801 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, Missouri. Partners are encouraged to confirm meeting locations in advance and watch for updates as the move progresses.

"The new office space will position MARC for long-term success. It has been designed to provide a high-quality place where regional stakeholders can come together and a good working environment for MARC staff. We conducted internal and external engagement to ensure the new space reflects how staff work today — and how our work will continue to evolve."

Carol Gonzales, MARC's Director of Finance and Administration

We plan to host an open house in the fall to welcome stakeholders to the new location.

While MARC's address may be changing, our mission remains the same — to collaboratively work to advance regional priorities and improve the quality of life for residents across the Kansas City metropolitan area.
