Independence Veterans Video Program captures service stories
Veterans Day, celebrated each year on Nov. 11, is a day when America honors those who have served in the U.S. armed forces. An Independence, Missouri, program pays tribute to veterans year-round: the Veterans Video Program at Veterans Hall.
The video program features interactive kiosks that display videos of local veterans and a link to the national Veterans History Project at the Library of Congress.
