Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day interactive workshop designed to equip participants with practical skills to identify, intervene, and support individuals at risk of suicide. ASIST teaches participants how to recognize warning signs, engage in meaningful conversations, and develop a safety plan to help someone in crisis. The training is suitable for anyone, regardless of prior experience, and provides a structured yet flexible model that enhances confidence and competence in suicide prevention.

The G191 course provides an opportunity for emergency management and response personnel to begin developing an Incident Command System (ICS)/Emergency Operations Center (EOC) interface implementation strategy, or action plan for their community. The course reviews ICS and EOC characteristics, responsibilities and functions using activities and group discussions.
