About Bike Month 2023

From e-bikes and adaptive bicycles to trikes and gravel grinders, there is a bike for everybody.

This year, the Mid-America Regional Council is celebrating bicycling in the Kansas City region in celebration of National Bike Month. We’ll be sharing stories from people who bike, community events to celebrate biking with others and resources for getting on two wheels throughout the month of May.

Why bike?

Riding a bike makes streets safer, brings people together and keeps the air clean. Whether you’re using a bike for transportation or riding for fun, we look forward to seeing you in the bike lane! New to bike commuting? Visit RideshareKC to find a bike commute buddy, register for Guaranteed Ride Home and more.
