The Regional Association of Public Information Officers (RAPIO) gives area communicators an opportunity to share information, work cooperatively on regional issues and network with their peers. All local government employees who are full or part-time PIOs in the metropolitan area — and other public sector employees who are regularly called on to serve in a public information capacity — are welcome to attend.

You’ll hear from regional colleagues who have practical experience in this arena. They’ll talk about how to:

  • Identify and prepare projects/items to submit for awards.
  • Figure out a budget to cover costs.
  • How to communicate your wins.
