Age Positive conference joins with ma4 for joint summit

On Sept. 12-14, the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging (ma4) brought their annual Show Me Summit on Aging and Health to Kansas City, joining with the annual Age Positive: Ideas for an Age-Friendly Future conference. The Summit was organized around the theme “We Are Better Together!”

More than 300 attendees heard from experts in the field of aging at the Intercontinental hotel conference center on the Plaza. The conference was targeted to those working with older adults in senior centers, community centers, libraries, park districts and other venues that offer programming or services for older adults.
