Third annual Age of Celebration shares resources — and fun — with attendees

Over 70 organizations and health care agencies came together to share information with older adults at the June 5 event, held at the Robert J. Mohart Multi-Purpose Center in Kansas City, Missouri. Attendees learned about healthy aging and had access to health tests, such as blood pressure, balance, bone density, A1C and more. 

Participants also attended interactive workshops, including Medicare Bingo, where they learned facts about Medicare while playing for prizes. Additionally, presenters shared information on how to avoid scams. 

A photo booth was on site to provide free photos of attendees, and lawn games were available for recreation. Three food vendors offered "small plate" lunches, and live music was provided by Stranded in the City.
