Comments on the draft plan are due by Nov. 7.

MARC received a grant through EPA's Climate Pollution Reduction Grant program to develop a comprehensive climate action plan (technical report). Over the past two years, MARC has met with community stakeholders to identify community needs and solutions to regional and local challenges that could be addressed with this plan.

The technical report builds on the Kansas City Regional Climate Action Plan adopted in 2021 and serves as a pathway toward building community health, economic prosperity for all, and achieving net zero emissions.

We invite you to learn more about the plan update and share your input by Nov. 7.

Ways to share feedback

  • Review the report, view our intro video and submit your ideas through our feedback form on kcmetroclimateplan.org.
  • You can also join us for a full-day open house at the MARC office (600 Broadway Blvd., Ste 200, Kansas City, MO) on Thursday, October 30. Open house participants will be offered compensation for their time and travel. RSVP is required to receive compensation!
