The MARC Solid Waste Management District is hosting five open house events supporting public engagement for the upcoming Solid Waste Management Plan.

Join the MARC Solid Waste Management District team at a Re-Framing Trash and Recycling in the Kansas City Region event. These open house sessions will focus on the upcoming 14-point Solid Waste Management Plan, which will be sent for review to the Missouri Department of Natural Resources. 

Drop in to view maps of the region and locations of current solid waste services. Your input on trash and recycling issues matters. Tell us your ideas for reuse and recovery strategies to help divert materials from landfills. 

There will be five sessions, one in each county in the MARC Solid Waste Management District.
