Job seekers can visit MetroKCGovJobs.org to find open positions in city, county and state governments or with related public sector organizations such as libraries, fire districts, sewer and water utilities, and others.

Human resources professionals from these types of organizations are encouraged to post job opportunities. In order to post, an HR representative must request an account for the MARC Member Center. Once your account has been created, follow these instructions to create a job posting.

Until Dec. 31, 2023, there is no cost to post to MetroKCGovJobs.org. After this introductory period, posting a job will cost $35 for cities and counties within the nine-county MARC region. All others will pay $75 per job posting. Postings are valid for 15 days with an option for one 15-day renewal.

MetroKCGovJobs.org was developed by the Kansas City Government-to-University (G2U) initiative to provide a centralized resource for promoting public sector jobs. MARC is the lead agency for G2U and the regional council of governments for the nine-county Kansas City region.
