Enjoy the journey and join the Green Commute Challenge

This free competition rewards those who choose sustainable transportation options like carpooling, biking or taking transit to work. We’re inviting you to do more than just log your trips. We’re inviting you to enjoy the journey.

Throughout the month of October, log your green work-related trips to earn points and get entered in weekly drawings for prizes from local businesses and makers. At the end of the challenge, grand prizes will be awarded on both the individual and team levels.  

By participating, you’re not just traveling from point A to point B. You’re connecting with your community, contributing to cleaner air and helping to plant seeds for a brighter, more sustainable tomorrow. Let’s embrace every mile we travel together.

What you can win

Weekly Prizes

Every week, we give away prize packages from local businesses. The more trips you log, the higher your chances of winning!  

Individual grand prizes

The top 10 participants with the highest points will be entered into a lottery to select the winners of the grand prize and second place prize.

Grand Prize:

• Electra Loft Go! 7D E-Bike from Elite Cycling

Second Place:

• Rains Trail Rolltop Backpack
• Shokz OpenRun Pro 2 bone conduction headphones

Team grand prizes

The first and second place teams will receive $300 and $150 in cash, respectively.

Local government challenge

City and county government teams can compete in the Local Government Challenge this year. The team with the highest average points per team member will win $300 to donate to a charity of their choice, giving smaller teams a chance to shine!
