There are so many reasons to walk this season. KC Walks aims to make walking more accessible, safe and enjoyable for people of all ages and abilities, whether you walk to school, work or for fun.

Walking can help reduce the risk of chronic diseases, improve mental health, save money on transportation costs, reduce greenhouse gas emissions and foster social connections. Walking can also support local businesses and tourism by increasing foot traffic and creating a vibrant street life.
