KCI transit study area

You can help shape the future of public transit at KCI by providing your input through an interactive map and survey.

The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority (KCATA) are working together on the Kansas City International (KCI) Airport Public Transit Services Action Plan. This plan aims to evaluate public transit options to serve transportation demands to and from the airport. The goal is to identify the role of transit at KCI to better address the needs of Greater Kansas City residents and travelers for business, recreation, and large public events.

Kimley-Horn serves as the project lead for the plan. The study began in April of this year and will conclude in November.

Your input will help the planning team identify the role of public transit at KCI and how it can better serve current and potential users throughout the region. Thank you for your participation.
