The event highlighted the region’s Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP), the updated Greater Kansas City Regional Bikeway Plan, MARC’s e‑mobility resource and the WAY TO GO commuter program. Attendees also reviewed examples of potential safety projects and learned how these tools can guide local implementation.

The showcase was designed to support jurisdictions preparing Safe Streets for All (SS4A) grant applications — offering insights to help strengthen proposals for federal funding. MARC staff and project team members were on hand to answer questions about the SS4A program and discuss how communities can use the CSAP and related resources to identify, prioritize and implement transportation safety strategies.
