MARC is asking residents and visitors to share their travel experiences during the FIFA World Cup 2026™ through a brief online survey. The feedback will help regional planners understand how well the transportation system performs during a period expected to bring thousands of additional trips across the metro.

The deadline for completing the survey is Friday, July 31.

As the region’s metropolitan planning organization, MARC leads long-range transportation planning by coordinating cities, counties, transit agencies and state partners. Greater Kansas City’s network is typically reliable, with most trips taken by car and growing interest in walking and biking. But limited transit funding and the scale of the event create new pressures.

This survey is part of MARC’s Travel Patterns After-Action Assessment, which aims to capture data on how the system responds, identify stress points and develop recommendations to help the region prepare for future large-scale events.
