MARC has shared a draft of the 2024 Unified Planning Work Program and update to the Public Participation Plan.

The Unified Planning Work Program (UPWP):

  • Describes the transportation planning activities MARC and other agencies will undertake during the year.
  • Documents the proposed expenditures of federal, state and local funds in support of applications for various planning grants.
  • Provides a management tool for MARC and the funding agencies in scheduling major transportation planning activities, milestones and products.  

MARC has drafted the 2024 UPWP that outlines the transportation planning work MARC and its partners intend to complete in 2024. The deadline for comments was November 3, 2023.

Public Participation Plan update

The Public Participation Plan (PPP) provides a framework that guides public involvement in MARC’s transportation planning projects. It specifies goals, strategies and techniques that encourage successful public participation. The deadline for comments was December 4, 2023.
