Weigh in on plan to improve regional mobility for individuals with special transportation needs

MARC has released the draft 2025 Coordinated Public Transit–Human Services Transportation Plan for public review and comment.

The plan outlines strategies for how transit agencies, social service organizations, municipalities and other transportation providers can collaborate to improve mobility for individuals with special transportation needs across the Kansas City region. It is a requirement under the federal SAFETEA-LU legislation.

The draft plan is available for public comment until 5 p.m. on Feb. 4. Community members are encouraged to review the plan and share feedback to help shape a more inclusive and efficient regional transportation system.
