Technical Advisory Committee (TAC)

The Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) serves as a subcommittee of the Total Transportation Policy Committee (TTPC) and advises the TTPC on technical issues related to multimodal surface transportation. This includes highways and roadways, public transit, bicycle and pedestrian travel, and goods movement and freight.

The TAC provides recommendations to the TTPC on technical planning matters and offers input on all aspects of the metropolitan transportation planning process required under federal and state laws and regulations. The committee may also address additional matters as assigned by the TTPC.
