MARC is sharing community bike events in celebration of Bike Month 2025.Join the worldwide bicycling community for this important ride: http://www.rideofsilence.org.Participants will ride in a slow, silent procession to honor cyclists who have been killed or injured while cycling on public roadways.Major Taylor Cycling Club of Kansas City is organizing this 19th annual Kansas City ride. More than 100 bicyclists have been killed in the Kansas City area. The Kansas City ride will honor those and other bicyclists.Participants of all abilities are invited to join this memorial event. The ride will not exceed 12 mph. Names of those who lost their lives or were injured while riding their bicycles will be read during a brief ceremony, followed by ride protocol, safety instructions and the ride.
