2026 CHW Appreciation Week Open House and Celebration

You’re invited to attend a special Open House to celebrate Community Health Work Appreciation Week. All community health workers, allies and advocates are encouraged to attend. Light refreshments will be provided. 

Join us for:

• KC Regional Collaborative: Learn about the regional collaborative's recent work and accomplishments. 
• Socializing and networking: Connect or reconnect with other community health worker professionals.
• Resource sharing: Bring resources and/or materials to share. Space will be available for your materials.
• Storytelling: Share about the work you’ve done this past year to help the community and your clients. Submit your CHW Success Story online! 
• Opportunity sharing: Share volunteer, internship and employment opportunities that you’re aware of. 
• Future of CHWs: Take part in a facilitated discussion on the expanding role of CHWs in public health.

The event is free, but registration is required.
