Join us for "We Are Better Together!" — a joint conference of the Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging and Age Positive. This will be a fully in-person conference at the Intercontinental Kansas City Hotel on the Plaza, 401 Ward Parkway, Kansas City, Missouri, on Monday, Sept. 12 through Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2022.

Participants may attend the entire three-day conference or select their day(s) to attend.

Monday, Sept. 12, 12-6 p.m.
Tuesday, Sept. 13, 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. (Age Positive)
Wednesday, Sept. 14, 7:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Registration options

Online registration for the conference is now open. The following registration options are available:

Full Conference Registration (three days) — $200 per person*
One-day Registration — $75 per person
Additional guest meal packages are available for $150 per person and $50, respectively.

* Full conference registration includes a reception and dinner on Monday evening, Sept. 12; a continental breakfast and luncheon on Sept. 13, and a continental breakfast and box lunch on Sept. 14. One-day registration includes the meals available for the specified day.

** The Age Positive sessions will be primarily available on Tuesday, Sept. 13, but we hope you will join us for the full conference.

Note: There will be optional meetings and activities before and after these times. More information on the itinerary coming soon.

The Missouri Association of Area Agencies on Aging (ma4) is the statewide association of Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) and the leading voice for service, information and advocacy to enhance the lives of older adults in Missouri. This is the 17th annual ma4 conference, and it will offer speakers and workshops providing best practices for AAAs in the state.

Age Positive: Ideas for an Age-Friendly Future is an annual conference that offers a forum for innovative program idea to professionals and volunteers working in senior centers, community centers, libraries, park districts and other venues that offer programming for older adults. Hosted by a partnership of regional organizations, this is the 7th annual Age Positive conference.
