Dementia Training Room

The Dementia Training Room is a free, come when you can, education event for caregivers of dementia patients. Short workshops will be offered on:

• Communication strategies
• Impact of anxiety and depression
• Bathing and incontinence
• Delusions and hallucinations
• When dementia isn't Alzheimer's
• How Alzheimer's moves in the brain
• Reducing wandering
• Improving sleep
• Late-stage care

The sessions repeat every 15 minutes and participants may attend as many as they'd like. For more information, call 913-588-0602.
