Add to Calendar 09/17/2026 09:00 AM 09/17/2026 10:30 AM America/Chicago Housing and Transportation Roundtable

MARC is conducting the region’s first Housing and Transportation Coordination Plan to align regional housing and transportation goals to lower household cost burden, prioritize efficient land use, and create livable communities. To develop a well-rounded understanding of housing and transportation issues across the region, MARC is engaging stakeholders in a variety of ways to gather feedback on questions related to the intersection of housing, transportation, and economic development issues.

Public engagement is a critical component of MARC's Housing and Transportation Coordination Plan, ensuring that technical analysis is grounded in the lived experiences, needs, and priorities of the people and communities the plan will ultimately affect. This roundtable will serve as the opportunity for city managers and administrators from across the region to provide valuable insights into how these issues are affecting their communities, complementing the technical analysis and other public engagement components of the plan.
