Economy & Housing Events

The Greater Kansas City Regional Housing Partnership (RHP) kicks off the first session of the Housing Policy Innovation Series. The event will focus on pre-approved building plans as a strategy for affordable, quality housing development and will feature a keynote presentation and panel discussion exploring how to implement these strategies at the local level. The session will take place from 2-4 p.m. at Habitat for Humanity of Kansas City, located at 1423 Linwood Blvd. in Kansas City, Missouri.
     

During 2026, MARC plans to host two events that provide a forum for cities to discuss Short-Term Rental policy in relation to the 2026 World Cup. The purpose of these events is to provide an opportunity for idea sharing, help document region policy, and encourage actions that help keep the region moving towards it’s housing goals following the summer of 2026.
