During 2026, MARC plans to host two events that provide a forum for cities to discuss Short-Term Rental policy in relation to the 2026 World Cup. The purpose of these events is to provide an opportunity for idea sharing, help document region policy, and encourage actions that help keep the region moving towards it’s housing goals following the summer of 2026.

The goal of the project was to identify who is currently active in the regional housing ecosystem, what services they provide, how they collaborate, and where expansion opportunities exist.
