Andrew Davis, Community Capital Fund (Kansas City, Missouri)
Community Capital Fund administers grant opportunities for neighborhoods, grassroots nonprofits and other community groups. One of their programs is the Youth Neighborhoods Rising Fund which is a grant that connects high schoolers to the communities in which they live and work. Community reviewers volunteer their time to review applications from our grant programs and provide recommendations based on the criteria of each program. https://www.ccfkansascity.org/

The Tri-City Neighborhood Summit is hosted by the cities of Coppell, Lewisville and Flower Mound, Texas. They provide a one-day summit that equips participants through informational sessions on ways to build stronger neighborhoods and communities. https://www.cityoflewisville.com/Home/Components/Calendar/Event/77044/ Rena Bradley and Kevin Cobb, Fort Wayne, Indiana The FORT-ify Neighborhood Accelerator was designed by the Fort Wayne’s Department of Neighborhoods for neighborhood leaders who want to take their efforts to the next level by 1) building their knowledge and skill sets in key areas, 2) obtaining access to mentoring and support from city staff, and 3) working alongside other neighborhood associations. Accelerator participants will take part in monthly in-person workshops, work with city staff to develop a Quick Action Plan and complete hands-on activities between workshop sessions to put what they’re learning into practice in their neighborhoods. https://engage.cityoffortwayne.org/fortify
