MARC has prepared an application to submit to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Pathways to Removing Obstacles to Housing (PRO Housing) grant program (FR-6800-N-98). The program assists communities in overcoming barriers to creating and preserving affordable housing. MARC is proposing four projects that focus on activities that can help communities in the region overcome barriers to affordable housing.
The projects include:
- Project around programs and activities to assist communities in reviewing and updating land use, zoning and development processes
- Project to assist communities in reviewing and updating building codes
- Project to develop a regional Community Land Trust (CLT) Consortium as recommended in the Regional Business Plan for a CLT or similar model
A hybrid, virtual option is available by registering 24 hours in advance. Register to receive the virtual meeting credentials. Registration is not required for the in person meeting. The meeting will be recorded.
