Strategic & Long-term Riparian Restoration Planning

Please join us for a workshop designed for local government decision-makers (including parks, public works, planning and city management) and environmental nonprofits. Participants will learn about riparian restoration case studies from national and regional experts and long-term watershed management strategies.

The Cleveland MetroParks Director of Natural Resources, Jennifer Grieser, and the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District Stormwater Program Manager, Kimberly Colich, will share the regional goals and strategies for watershed and riparian restoration projects in the Cleveland metro. The Springfield Missouri Water Quality Compliance Officer, Carrie Lamb, and city engineer, Saki Urushidani, will present on Springfield’s prioritization criteria based on sustainable return on investment and lessons learned during implementation of the city’s riparian restoration projects.
