Add to Calendar 10/08/2025 05:00 PM 10/08/2025 07:00 PM America/Chicago Walk Audit — Independence Ave and Hardesty

Walk with us and share your perspective! Please meet at the Historic Northeast Lofts project (5401 Independence Avenue) at 5 p.m.

There will be five routes to choose from. Each route is about 1.5 miles, or about 1 hour of walking and talking with stops to discuss observations. After the walk, the five groups will meet back at the starting point to discuss their observations before departing. The event will conclude by 7 p.m.

The Bi-State Sustainable Reinvestment Corridor project team is coming to a location near you and asking for your participation in a series of walking audits!

Walking audits are great tools for experiencing and understanding together, in real time, how people move around the corridor today. Together, we will look at sidewalks, crossings, transit access, development, and public spaces to see what works well and what needs improvement.
