The TIP is the region’s short-range program that identifies projects to receive federal funds and projects of regional significance to be implemented over the next three- to five-year period. MARC amends the TIP on a quarterly cycle and as needed to accommodate changes to projects in the TIP.

The proposed 2023 second-quarter amendment will add 24 new projects. Highlights include:

  • Construct a roundabout at K-32 and 158th Street in Leavenworth County, Kansas
  • Develop a Vision Zero action plan for the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas
  • Reconstruct the bridge over Indian Creek at College Boulevard
  • Replace the Garland Avenue bridge over the Dry Fork of the Fishing River
  • Replace Raytown Road bridge over Lumpkins Fork
  • South Commercial Street extension in Harrisonville, Missouri
  • Guardrail upgrades on I-35 from Franklin County to Johnson County

It will modify 14 projects in scope, schedule or budget.
