We’re celebrating KC Bike Month at MARC and want you to join us.

Congratulations to the recipients of the 2022 Outstanding Performance Awards!  The awards recognize the exceptional work that telecommunicators do for first responders and for the public. A selection committee chose the recipients from nominations submitted by 911 dispatch centers throughout the region.

This year's honorees include: 

New Community Project Funding (CPF) will help increase access to affordable housing options for individuals and families throughout the Kansas City region. 

The Kansas City economy has recovered 80% of the 139,300 jobs lost from the recession. The Kansas City metropolitan economy needs to recover another 27,200 jobs to return to the pre-pandemic peak level of employment.

Earth Day is on Friday and we hope you join us in taking steps to protect the environment—this week and every week.  

On Friday, April 15, at the First Suburbs Coalition meeting, the Mid-America Regional Council honored Peculiar, Missouri, for becoming more age friendly. Peculiar earned Silver Level status in the Communities for All Ages recognition program, which required conducting a self-assessment of age-friendly policies and actions.
