Add to Calendar 2025-12-02 08:00:00 2025-12-02 17:00:00 PER 353: Advanced Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM) The Advanced Active Shooter Incident Management (ASIM) course provides responders with the experience and confidence to manage an Active Shooter Event, no matter their rank or assignment. Active Shooter Incident Management Advanced is a 3-day comprehensive course using the ASIM Checklist integrated response process with eleven hands-on scenario exercises (using the multi-responder NIMSProTM 3D Simulation System). The course provides hands-on incident management experience for street responders and leaders alike. Participants are trained to integrate and manage a multi-discipline response to a full range of Active Shooter and hostile event threats, including Complex Coordinated Attack (CCA). The goal is simple — decrease the time to neutralize the threat and get injured to a hospital.Participants will learn and practice the following positions, functions and scenarios: ASIM checklist process, First arriving LEO, Contact Team, Tactical Group Supervisor, Staging Manager, Casualty Collection Point,     Lenexa Justice Center noreply@marc.org America/Chicago public

Target Audience:  Law enforcement, Fire, EMS, Dispatch, Emergency Management, Public Information Officer. 

Please be advised registration is reserved for emergency services personnel in the nine-county Kansas City metropolitan area: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Leavenworth, Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. Travel costs are not provided.
