L984 is a four-day course designed to address all responsibilities appropriate to a Planning Section Chief operating in a local- or state-level All-Hazards Incident Management Team. These responsibilities fall into two categories: 1) managing the planning cycle and 2) tracking resources and incident status. MGT 440 course is scenario based, focusing on event planning, incident management, and policy level decision making. The course is intended to prepare participants for the response to a large scale incident during sporting or special events. 

The Sport and Special Event Enhanced Risk Management and Assessment course brings first responders, government, and commercial facilities professionals together to prepare or enhance risk management and assessment programs. The course introduces methodologies designed to complement and expand on national critical infrastructure framework guidelines. The training leverages a combination of exercises, discussions, and activities to optimize participant experience. The training is applicable across the United States regardless of the venue size, capacity, or type of event.
