Active Shooter Preparedness Workshop

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Region 7 (Kansas City, MO), invites you to join an in-person workshop to enhance your organization’s resilience in the event of an active shooter incident. 

This instructor-led security training session will provide participants with best practices associated with developing or improving an active shooter emergency action plan for their organization. Participants will also gain insight into how to establish behavioral threat assessment and management teams, conduct effective risk assessments, implement protective measures to mitigate consequences, and plan for recovery after an incident. Because active shooter incidents are unpredictable and evolve quickly, preparing for and knowing what to do in an active shooter situation can be the difference between life and death, and establishing a functional emergency action plan can help save lives.
