eICS Facility Administrator Training

eICS is a web-based electronic incident command system that is used to facilitate incident planning and response impacting a facility, healthcare system, or regional coalition. This class has been designed as an administrative level course to familiarize designated hospital and coalition staff with all components of the eICS application. Participants in the Admin User class will learn both the Planning and Response components of the eICS system. The planning components will include how to create contact lists and notification groups, assign roles and incident command positions, create event response templates, and utilize reports and improvement planning options. The response components of the class will include how to activate an event, notify pertinent incident command staff, document event activities, create/update incident objectives, and develop reports using the eICS system.
