The meeting will be held in the Board Room / Municipal Room on the first floor of Parkville City Hall.

During the meeting, MARC's Aging and Adult Services Program Manager Lauren Schaumburg will discuss Communities for All Ages, a regional, age-friendly city initiative that provides technical assistance, recognition and education to local governments in the region that have taken meaningful steps to become more inclusive of residents of all ages.

As most communities use consulting firms to develop their planning and visioning documents, this interactive discussion will explore how the city-consultant relationship can work to ensure aging is meaningfully incorporated into this process. It will highlight best practices, challenges, and showcase local examples.

A light breakfast will be served during networking at 8:00 a.m., with the program from 8:30 - 10:00 a.m. There is no cost for this event, but your registration to attend is requested.
