Add to Calendar 2024-05-20 13:00:00 2024-05-20 16:00:00 Missouri Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan Kickoff Meeting Join us for the kickoff of the 2025 Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan planning process. Every five years, the Mid-America Regional Council helps jurisdictions on the Missouri side of the region update a hazard mitigation plan to meet requirements set by the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). Kansas communities are also in the process of updating their plans. This plan is prepared every five years to help cities, counties, school districts, colleges and other local jurisdictions reduce risks from future disaster events by identifying mitigation actions they might take. Join us for the kickoff of the 2025 Regional Hazard Mitigation Plan planning process.

Stakeholder Engagement Plan

Develop a plan for re-engaging stakeholders in the update process. (This involves identifying key groups to involve and potential outreach strategies.)
