This one-day workshop will help you teach participants how to:

  • Describe what is meant by a project
  • Explain what project management means
  • Identify benefits of projects
  • Identify the phases of a project’s life cycle
  • Sell ideas and make presentations related to pitching a project
  • Prioritize projects
  • Begin conceptualizing your project, including goals and vision statements
  • Use project planning tools
  • Contribute to creating a Statement of Work

This course is a virtual, instructor-led, live online event, with self-paced activities and learning opportunities.  Live event recordings will be posted for all participants.

Format and Schedule

This class is delivered in the live, virtual instructor-led format. Class hours are 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. (CST).

Fees

  • The rate for individuals participating from the MARC region is $215 per person.
  • 9-1-1 Regional Members pay $0. The training fee is covered by MARC's Regional Public Safety Communications Program.
