Digital accessibility has been an ongoing topic of interest within RAPIO and, as the first compliance deadline for larger public entities approaches in April 2027, many organizations are asking the same question: What should we be doing now? Join us on Friday, Oct. 23, for a timely discussion of digital ADA requirements, recent developments and practical steps communicators can take to support compliance efforts.

Don Torrez, local digital ADA expert, will share a presentation about the big-picture overview of the digital accessibility landscape before exploring what the requirements mean in practice. He’ll cover new developments, including Missouri’s digital accessibility law, discuss what enforcement may look like and share actionable steps that can help organizations move toward compliance, regardless of where they are in the process.
