The Bi-State Sustainable Reinvestment Corridor study is in its second phase, which included a series of walk audits in October, and you’re invited to guide the next steps for the project. Join the in-person public meeting on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Don Bosco Senior Center Community Room, 580 Campbell Street, Kansas City, Missouri.

Attendees will hear updates on the corridor study, including the selected bus rapid transit route and early design concepts for transit stations and neighborhood connections. Enjoy seasonal refreshments and festive door prizes. Drawings will feature gift cards to corridor businesses, holiday hams or turkeys, fruit baskets and more.

The 24-mile corridor links Independence, Sugar Creek and Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas. It aims to improve infrastructure, transportation and economic development across the region.

A Spanish-language translator will be available to assist. The project team is committed to providing equal access to this event for all participants. If you need reasonable accommodation, please email Lara Schopp at least 48 hours in advance. Public transportation is available via RideKC bus route 24.
